Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tracy Neely. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tracy, appreciate you joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

The name of my business is Mindset Alchemy®. The name came to me back in early 2000 as I was driving in my car. I remember the day as if it was yesterday.

As soon as the name came into my awareness, my heart started beating so fast. I put my hand on my heart and started to breathe so that I would begin to feel the energy of it. I felt excited and also I could feel that my brain was trying to take over and make logical sense of the name.

I asked myself WHY did I come up with that name. What was the purpose of the name. I questioned if the name was too narrow and if people would think that I only talked about mindset. In that moment I started to feel my stomach feel like butterflies were in it.

Our mind is always looking for something to focus on and my mind felt like it was all over the place. The best thing I could do for my mind in that moment was to breathe. That gave my mind something to focus on.

I researched the name to see if it would show up anywhere online. I searched to see if anyone had created a domain for it. I did a trademark search of it. I searched on social media platforms to see if the name would pop up on pages, profiles and groups. When nothing showed up, I decided to see with the name Mindset Alchemy for six weeks.

Something in my spirit showed me that this was the name of my business. And it was time to connect with the energy of Mindset Alchemy. The first thing I did was to register Mindset Alchemy as an LLC. Then I purchased the domain, mindsetalchemy.com. I felt proud of myself for having the courage to trust my intuition and follow my inner-knowing. Sometimes we start before we feel we are ready and that is exactly what I did. Our mind can tell us a story, but the body knows the truth. My whole body felt like it was vibrating every time I said the words “mindset alchemy.” There was something about it. I knew there was something deeper under the surface.

The name felt mystical and magical so decided to hire an attorney to start the process of trade marking the name and then I eventually registered mindset alchemy. That was a big moment because I was sending a shout out to the Universe that I was ready. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was ready for, however I was open to receive signs, signals, messages, wisdom and whatever else in my next steps.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My purpose knew me before I consciously knew my purpose. I remember when I was about seven years old, my great-grandmother looked into my eyes and said, “You are an old soul.” I didn’t understand it back then. I knew things about people from the moment I saw them. At thirteen I told my Mother that I wanted people to feel better. My purpose as a Healer evolved over time as I started exploring deeper parts of myself that I was too shy to share.

When I decided that being an entrepreneur and specifically a Healer and Life Coach was my path, my heart knew I desired to work with women entrepreneurs. I speak with so many women that have dreams and desires, but fear of what other people will think holds them back from expressing their greatest gifts.

Being an entrepreneur can bring up so many emotions and feelings and supporting women’s dreams and desires while they are evolving into their authentic self means the world to me.

Mindset Alchemy LLC’s mission is to empower and inspire women to show up powerfully in their business creating an impact doing what they love. We serve, support and guide coaches, healers, and heart centered women entrepreneurs to nurture and nourish their authentic self so they unapologetically shine their inner-brilliance out into the world through their programs and services.

I am proud of saying YES to healing every aspect of me so that I could fully show up as myself and share my wisdom of how feeling deeply nourished can elevate us to express our soul mission. As a healer, guide, and life coach, I support heart centered coaches, healers, mentors and women entrepreneurs to illuminate their gifts and wisdom and impact lives doing what feeds their heart and is in alignment with their soul.

One of my greatest gifts as a Seer is deeply seeing into women the beauty that lives within them. When we begin to nurture our nature, we show up as our truest self in our business and this leads to expressing our magnetism. When we are illuminating our magnetism, we begin to energetically attract folks we feel in alignment with.

Illuminating how our soul expression is the greatest gift we can give to others. Our expression is unique to us and guiding women to express their uniqueness in their business means the world to me.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

The biggest lesson I learned was to trust my intuition. My first reaction in my business was to look outside of myself for the answers and that never worked because I would go into a state of confusion and frustration and then do nothing. I had to learn this lesson over and over until I began healing the things inside of me that held me back from trusting the voice inside of me. I began to feel the inner-knowing in me that I began to trust as my ‘go to’. Our biggest lessons can be our greatest teacher.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

I was working for a tech company doing marketing and I was at a conference in Palo Alto, CA. I remember looking around and feeling a deep dread within because I felt like the job was sucking the life out of my soul. I was making a lot of money, however I felt empty inside.

While I was on the plane returning home, I decided I could no longer do work that didn’t nurture my soul. My mind brought up all the stories and fear around walking away from a high paying job. I decided to listen to my heart and pivot. And I started on my journey of healing and coming back into the remembrance of what my soul came into this earthly realm to express my greatest gift. And that lead to the work that I do now. The pivot was scary but absolutely necessary to be courageous and bet on myself.
