Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jessica Bergmann. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jessica, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you walk us through some of the key steps that allowed you move beyond an idea and actually launch?
I moved to the United States from Germany, with a Medical Assistant degree. When I started my new life in America, I had a wide opportunity to actually pursue what I’m passionate about. I was always into video editing and photography so I started pursuing it as a hobby in Miami. Soon thereafter, I have garnered a significant follower base on social media and received positive feedback about my content. America is a place where one can make a living from one’s passion. This quickly became obvious and I built a business model focusing on doing what I love. Simultaneously, I am also working as a paralegal at an immigration law firm in Brickell helping people achieve their own American dream.
Jessica, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am passionate about traveling and helping others familiarizing themselves with new environments. Part of my niche or focus therefore aligns with nature and travel videos. Simultaneously, my channel grew into sharing useful brands and fashion items with my followers as multiple brands seek my services out to help them reach a wider audience. I love helping others and so love sharing useful and fascinating places and products with those looking for new options and opportunities in their lives.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Definitely social media and direct outreach programs. We live in an age where one either familiarizes him or herself with the opportunities that social media offers for marketing and clientele growth, or the person will be left behind. Newer and newer potentials arise on a daily basis, one must have the creativity and resilience to utilize them without giving into the fear of failing.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Being able to make a living from something that I’m passionate about. The fact that I’m able to grow a business around something the once used to be a hobby is an absolutely rewarding feeling. Moving to America definitely boosted my self-confidence and abilities to seek out more opportunities and with resilience one always has the chance to succeed in this country.
