Eleía & JoLee, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So, what do you think about family businesses? Would you want your children or other family members to one day join your business?

We love that our hair accessory line is a family business! Our mom includes us in the product making process and allows us to come up with our own designs. Sometimes we get a little messy but it’s all apart of the process! Mom takes care of all the important details and dad helps with packing orders. Everyone has a hand to help build the business.

Eleía & JoLee, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

We are Eleía & JoLee Coleman, the inspiration behind LeíBeaux Hair Accessories. Our mom is a salon owner so she’s also our personal cosmetologist. When it came to hair accessories to add to our hair, there wasn’t much variety to choose from when searching the store so she decided to create some custom designs for us. From there, she offered the creations to other kiddo clients and our business took off from there. Today LeíBeaux provides uniquely designed beads and ballies, nothing like you’ll find in the store, for all ages.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Honestly, our social media following is small right now but that’s ok because it still has brought in sales for us. We’re still learning how & when to use certain hashtags as well as create eye catching captions. It’s another full-time job! lol

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.

We take pride is saying that all of our creations are handmade.. Our mom did quite a bit of research and test making before putting our product out to the public. Creating our own product really takes time, patience, creativity, & capital!
