We recently connected with Jessica Quiroz and have shared our conversation below.
Jessica , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Our idea of having the PERFECT wedding day at our Estate stemmed from planning our own wedding. A year and a half of planning everything ourselves. From flowers to colors to overall theme. We dotted every “i” and crossed every “t”. We learned the venue we had used significantly limited us on what we truly wanted to have as a wedding experience. No bride should be their own wedding planner and coordinator when paying for a $13,000 venue with a coordinator included, and unfortunately that is exactly what ended up happening. Although it was an absolutely spectacular wedding, we knew that our creative minds in-turn created several limitations with the venue we chose.
We purchased and rebranded our property to Key Rose Estate with the intentions of making every bride feel that their creativity is limitless. We do not limit our brides to use our preferred vendors. If they have family members that are a Photographer, DJ, or even Caterer, we welcome them to our Venue because we remember the limitations we were forced to work with, not even talking about the astronomical costs of what a wedding traditionally costs.
A wedding is a celebration of two people coming together to start their own family, in respect to their own families joining together as one. What right do we have to say to our brides what they CAN’T have for their wedding day?
This unique approach has granted us the opportunity to serve our local community while still remaining incredibly affordable. Our clients, military and civilian alike have appreciated our way of thinking, and how we can provide the personal experiences to the table when they may not know what they want.

Jessica , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Key Rose Estate, located on the east side of Fayetteville, NC is the private home of Alexander and Jessica Quiroz. Alexander is a Fayetteville native who served with the 82nd Airborne before retiring and becoming a Special Education Teacher for Pine Forest High School. While Jessica is originally from Upstate New York. She spent most of her career working for the Army before she, herself become a bride and found her passion for wedding planning.
The grounds include the Butler’s Quarters and the Coach House, represented in the Tudor style found in the rural south of France; revealing steeped pitched roofs with quaint dormers. Stone, stucco and exposed timber framing all lead to the ideal of a medieval story book image, which speaks imaginatively, “Once upon a time.”
The Gardens are the reinforcing gem that blurs the lines of reality that you have crossed a portal into another time and place. The long formal vista with sculpted shrubs lined in precision appears as if the Queen’s guard are on watch over the french parterre and knott garden. Espaliered pear trees embrace the textured courtyard walls and the round towers while fragrant roses complement the fountains and elegant statuary.
We are incredibly proud to say that anything you dream of can come true when you select us as your outdoor wedding venue. We offer gated exclusive access to our 7 acres grounds and secluded gardens. We also offer our clients the choice of their outdoor ceremony locations from our different gardens. Access to our Decor Closet which helps reduce the cost of purchasing wanted decor and the headache of selling it after the wedding. Tent, tables, and chairs are also provided!
Wedding Planning Services are provided to help reduce to cost of needing to hire a wedding coordinator for the day of your wedding. We have three sit down meetings to go over all the details and visions to ensure your day is a dream come true.
We have a list of preferred vendors that have been vetted and are trusted to provide exceptional service on your most important of days, however we offer our clients the freedom to choose their own licensed & insured vendors, helping you control your costs, or should you have a vendor in mind already.
With our venue, Engagement Pictures may also be taken on the property as part of your package.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Our audience on social media initially started with our closest friends and family. After starting the Key Rose Estate Instagram and Facebook, we immediately reached out to anyone and everyone that would be interested in having a customized and affordable wedding venue. Our first year showed significant growth in business after hosting several photo shoots with models, photographers, and vendors to showcase the potential of what our Estate could provide. We typically host weddings at our Estate, but also offer graduation parties, proms, birthday parties, charity banquets, family reunions and more!
After having several successful ceremonies and receptions, all of our clients insisted on tagging us in any photos taken throughout the event. Each vendor we have hosted for our brides are locally owned businesses. We have learned that if you want your business to grow, networking with other local professionals in the area is absolutely necessary. It is a fantastic feeling when you see every local business leader thriving off of bettering each other here. Social media has helped all of us work cohesively together to make us see the beginnings of success. It takes a village to support a family. It takes an amazing community to support a local business.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Both my wife Jessica and I have managed our events with high enthusiasm with absolutely one goal in mind – Ensuring our bride has the PERFECT wedding day. From simple requests of needing cake cutting utensils all the way up to ensuring our privacy gate is closed at ceremony time to ensure that there are no disruptions. Many of our guests love to tour our Estate and we gladly provide answers and stories to all of their questions.
Both Jessica and I take great pride in the progress made on our property, and we are so happy to show our guests everything there is….and what future plans are in store! We work from sun up to sun down personally setting up and decorating the ceremony and reception areas. Our brides are always so happy to see that not only are we accommodating to the bridal party, but to graciously welcome their guests to our Estate.
In turn with having several conversations with all of our guests, we have learned about many diverse backgrounds and cultures. This has greatly impacted our relationships with our local community so much that our clients have almost doubled this past fall wedding season. Each bride we have had the graces of hosting has loved our communication, understanding, and personal touch. As avid dog lovers, it is also an added bonus for Jessica and I when clients see us walking our 4 Great Danes and 1 fluffy husky around the property throughout the event!
Both Jessica and I are humbled with the several claims that our Estate, our Home, our Venue is “The Hidden Diamond of Fayetteville, North Carolina”. We could not have been more blessed with this opportunity and will continue to stay humble and thankful to our fantastic community in supporting our dreams as we continue to give each and every single bride their perfect day!
