We were lucky to catch up with Leticia Saenz recently and have shared our conversation below.
Leticia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The idea to open a restaurant started in Mexico and is consolidated here in this beautiful city, Nashville. One of the main reasons is my son since he is allergic to different kinds of food, like eggs and flour, which are sometimes essential components for preparing a lot of dishes. Because of this, I started looking for alternatives without fillers and got an answer through the pandemic. I could make different dishes; instead of thinking of 40 days confined to home, it was 40 days of opportunities to make other dishes and combinations, so I tried something new each day.
During the pandemic, I took an online Chemistry in food course on Harvard’s platform to better understand how food reacts when you cook and combine them, in addition to my major in Pharmaceutical chemistry to understand better how the body reacts to different stimuli and food.
After the pandemic, when I had gatherings, and I was providing the main dish, guests would give excellent feedback. That motivated me to make better dish combinations, always having the objective of “No Allergies” and looking for less processed food. As a chemist, I know that the fewer chemicals the body ingests, the more conserved the body bemuses; therefore, the body is less intoxicated and feels better.
I also got positive and encouraging testimonies from diabetic people, including my mother; they told me their glucose levels did not increase considerably, even without medication for glucose control, and that they felt more energy.
That’s when I got a complete interest in starting and having my own wholesome food-eating company, Love Olive Kitchen, which cooks smart food for you, seeking the balance between eating protein, vegetables, and healthy carbs in the three daily primary timetables (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
We are excited and love that “Love Olive Kitchen” can be a wholesome food option. Flavor contrasts like citrus, spicy, and sweet and sour can bring a well-being and trust sensation without added conservators and no fillers.

Leticia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
As a mother, daughter, and wife, I understand that juggling day-to-day responsibilities can feel like a full-time job. Pursuing our passions can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. However, despite the uncertainties of life, I have chipped away at my dream of Love Olive Kitchen one day at a time. With each meal placed on our dinner table and each recipe refinement, I have taken small steps forward with excitement, stress, and determination. For me, food is the best medicine in every way. It’s important to me that Love Olive Kitchen embodies a conscious commitment to loving nature, fostering creative learning, and promoting transcendent healing through wholesome food. As I pursue my passion for the well-being of those I love, I strive to keep Love Olive Kitchen grounded in these values, even amid the challenge to disrupt the food industry. I would like to demonstrate that wholesome food doesn’t have to be limited to just salads, nor does it have to be bland or boring, or you can’t eat desserts. I’m also well aware of the challenges of motherhood, which only makes my commitment to providing healthy, nourishing food all the more pressing.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I have always believed that what we do in life benefits others. I also think that the product itself reflects who we are, and the service we provide is what we offer. It is a way of giving our best and showing the best qualities of our company. Essentially, our company represents the quality of the service it offers. As the founder of Love Olive Kitchen, it gives me great pleasure to serve and be the product that provides the benefits of healthy eating.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Providing the service as if it were the first time I met them. I always have a genuine interest in knowing them at a personal level, which allows me to understand and address their needs. Also, the quality will never decrease in our products.
