In 2020 I was involved in a car accident that would change the trajectory of my life. It was a major turning point, where I began to re-evaluate where I was going. It left me unable to work in the same way I had before, it was a very challenging time for me. But it was during my recovery that I realized I had a unique opportunity. I’ve always been passionate about the creative arts and marketing. My background in theater – actingm, singing, and dancing instilled in me a deep appreciation for storytelling and artistic expression.
As I was recovering, I began to explore new avenues for my creativity. I saw the potential in the world of digital marketing and social media, and I was intrigued by the idea of helping businesses tell their stories and connect with their audiences online. The accident had given me a fresh perspective and a renewed determination to follow my passions.

Starting Beaux Monde Media was a big risk. Although I had prior experience, going all in I had to learn the ins and outs of the digital marketing world. I faced all the uncertainties of entrepreneurship, including the need to build a client base from the ground up. There were moments of self-doubt, but my determination and belief in my creative talents kept me going.
At the time I launched Beaux Monde Media, I was working as a manager at a gym, during this period I would dedicate my breaks and any free moments at the gym to work on projects for my clients. I consistently put in the hours, even when it meant working overtime.
As time went on, my hard work began to pay off. Beaux Monde Media started gaining traction, and I secured clients who saw the value in my innovative approach to marketing. My unique blend of creativity and marketing expertise set me apart in a competitive field.
Through sheer dedication, I gradually built a reputation for delivering high-quality work and exceeding my clients’ expectations. This consistency allowed me to transition my ‘side hustle’ to going full-time on my passion.
Looking back, that car accident, which could have been a major setback, turned into a catalyst for a new chapter in my life. It pushed me to take a risk, follow my passions, and start a successful business that allows me to do what I love every day. It’s a testament to my resilience and my willingness to seize opportunities, even in the face of adversity.

With Beaux Monde Media, I realized that I had the drive and the vision to pursue even more. It was during this time that I had the fortune of meeting my business partner, who I worked closely with to shape our dreams into reality.
In 2021, I traveled to a business conference in 2021 where I met one of my business partners, Elizabeth O’Connor. After meeting at the conference, we got straight to connecting while 1000 miles away from each other. We were on Google Meet for hours each day, dedicating our time to brainstorming, planning, and shaping our business ideas. This laid the foundation for our partnership and businesses.
I was unsure about taking on multiple businesses and the responsibilities that came with them. It was a significant leap of faith. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I was no stranger to overcoming challenges and taking risks.
My business partner and I took the plunge into the world of multi-business ownership with the Venom Era. Our brand motto, “For the Woman Who Demands More,” perfectly encapsulated the spirit and ambition behind this new venture. It was about providing something empowering and unique. Our drive and shared vision brought the Venom Era to life. We pushed each other to reach new heights and together we created a brand that represented not just style, but empowerment and individuality.
