We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jeni Raitsin a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeni, thanks for joining us today. If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
Ever since I can remember, I believed that happiness was around the corner, and I was willing to work HARD to get it. But no matter how hard I worked or how much I achieved – it never felt enough. On the outside, everything looked great – by the time I was 30, I was an award-winning architect, leading a team in a great company and making good money… Nothing was “wrong;” everything was…fine.
But I wasn’t really happy. My mind felt like it was “on” all the time, and I would often end my days feeling stressed, exhausted, and frustrated – asking myself, “Is this it?”
I knew there had to be a better, easier, less stressful way to live life, so one day, I quit my job, bought a plane ticket to Brazil, and went on a journey to try and find it.
This was the first step that led me to entrepreneurship, and in my own journey of self-development, I found my passion for uncovering why people do what they do and how to help them do it better so they could also have both – successful, fulfilling careers and the time to enjoy a thriving personal life.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a Tel-Aviv-based, former architect turned entrepreneur, international keynote speaker & coach.
When I left my Job as an architect after 8 years, I went into entrepreneurship and started a social enterprise. But I was struggling with a lot of overwhelm, self-doubt, and fear. I kept working and working, but nothing seemed to be moving forward, and I felt exhausted. so I started looking for ways to help myself.
This led me to discover and study different practices like energy management, mental fitness, subconscious reprogramming, psychology, etc., and combine them with my knowledge of planning and productivity into what I call today – Mindful Productivity.
Mindful Productivity is a unique neuroscience-based, mindfulness-infused framework I developed, but It’s more than a time-management strategy or a productivity hack – It’s a state of mind. A way of life.
We operate in a culture obsessed with ‘being busy,’ hustle, and achievements. As high-achievers, we’re conditioned to believe from a young age that the rewards we receive are proportional to the amount of effort we put in, so if you want to be successful, you *have* to continue to *do more* and *work harder* (and that secretly you’re only as good as what you accomplish and how people see you)…
So people, like I did, may spend years chasing the “next” achievement or project and constantly pushing themselves to work harder and be better.
But pushing yourself relentlessly can come with a price – physically, mentally, and emotionally, it can hurt relationships and your ability to actually enjoy life (or your work). And in turn, it affects how you show up and perform – because honestly, how energetic or focused can you show up when you’re tired, stressed, or mentally exhausted, right?
Mindful Productivity isn’t about *doing more* things; it’s about getting things *done*. A simple set of principles that will lead you to have more – time, energy, joy, and income – without necessarily *doing* more because you’re focusing on doing the right things, more mindfully.
There is a lot of shame around time and energy management. It’s like if you’re a high-achieving woman who has done a thing or two in your life – there’s this expectation that you “should” know how to manage life without feeling overwhelmed or that you “should be able to handle it all” without even breaking a sweat. This is simply not true.
Productivity and mental energy management is one of the most fundamental skills for our success and happiness. Yet, it is often overlooked. We can be really smart and really good at what we do and even be really successful and STILL be bad at managing our time and energy. The thing is that our mental energy levels have a profound effect on the way we think, feel, and act, which, in turn, affects the way we move through the world and experience life.
In the past 10 years, I’ve been on a mission to break the belief that our worth is equal to our productivity and help high-achieving women and teams to UNBUSY LIFE and find ways to feel less stressed and overwhelmed and more calm, focused, and “enough” so they can enjoy life (without sacrificing professional success).
My expertise comes from education but also from my life experience. Everything I teach, I practice. And now, instead of working 80-hour weeks (in my full time+biz) – I’m able to work only four days a week in my dream business while traveling the world and making more money than ever before.
I offer individual coaching for professionals and entrepreneurs ready to find better, less stressful ways to be successful while making time and space to accomplish their personal goals and desires. As well as workshops and training programs for teams and companies that want to build productive, high-performing, agile teams that don’t burn out.
I’m also the founder of “The Mindfu(e)l Club” – A membership for women wanting to crush their to-do’s and still have energy at the end of the day for life outside of work.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I’m an eternal student. I love learning and am obsessed with personal development. I try to learn something new every day – either through reading or podcasts. The books/podcasts that have influenced me the most were all about mindset. Business strategy is great, but if our mind isn’t strong enough to implement it or if we don’t know how to overcome what’s blocking us – we will never see true success or experience true happiness. This is something I work on daily and also teach my clients.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Unpopular opinion here- but being a great coach. A lot of my business success has been and still is from returning clients and word-of-mouth recommendations. And I love it because I get to work with incredible, like-minded people I love.
There is no doubt that as business owners, we also need to be good at “owning a business” and marketing it, but if we want to be successful in the long run – we have to provide great value.
