Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nyckki Stanley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nyckki, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I would like to be known as a well trusted advisor who has helped many people achieve their real estate goals. I want to make sure that I am a leader within the real estate community. I also want to have made a great impact on people’s lives. I would like to be remembered for these things because this is what is important to me.

Nyckki, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a Realtor and I got into this business because it is a people’s business and I have always enjoyed working with people. I work with buyers, sellers and other professionals to help them achieve their real estate goals. I knew this career would be rewarding to me and the services I can and have provided. I have a great impact on many peoples lives and I know I truly make a difference to them. I have always wanted to have a business and I am grateful for the things this business has provided me. I have great income potential, flexible schedule, work with many different people and I have an impact on people’s lives. Of course there are also some challenges to being a Realtor. It can be a very competitive field and it takes time and effort to build a successful business. However, the rewards can be well worth it and I absolutely put in the time and love it.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My expertise has helped me because as a Realtor you have to have a deep understanding of the real estate market so my knowledge have helped in a major way. There are also many other things that have helped me also like my communication and responsiveness, honesty and integrity, marketing and sales skills. I have found these to be very important. I also make sure I build relationships with other real estate professionals because it keeps me informed about the real estate market and allows me to provides my clients with the best possible service. Building a good reputation takes time and effort that I love to put in and it is worth it in the long run.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing clientele as a Realtor was to develop a great marketing plan that targets my ideal clients and positions me as a trusted expert in my field. I define my target market for example who am I trying to reach. I also network with many other professionals, go the extra mile for my clients and I also get involved with the community. All of these things have helped.
