We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Gary Brand a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Gary, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
People have been telling ghost stories and urban legends for generations. Many folk tales have never been written down and risk being lost as oral traditions are forgotten. I strive to preserve the stories of haunted houses and creatures in the woods on our weekly podcast and in the books I have begun to publish.

I am a twenty-year veteran of the United States military. During that time, I traveled the world and met many people with incredible local legends and stories.
Now retired, I have shifted my focus to writing and telling stories. I am proud that our show is a constantly growing enterprise available for free to our listeners.

This project has many who believe the supernatural and paranormal are made up of fakes and mental illnesses. The field has many who treat people who have experiences negatively, causing them to not want to share. I strive to treat all eyewitnesses with respect and kindness. I don
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My wife and co-host, GoldieAnn, and I met through a dating app where we shared many of the same interests. After we were married, I began communicating with her many of the tales I had heard from across the country and worldwide. When the Pandemic occurred, she mentioned that I should share those stories on a broader scale, initiating the podcast and, later, the books.
