Owning a business is challenging – from increasing costs, regulations, competition and more the day to day of being a business owner if often far from glamorous. However, the reason so many of us do what we do is the moments when we are able to come through in a big way for our clients. The moments when we know we’ve made a real difference. Every entrepreneur we know wants to increase the frequency of those moments and so we think one of the best ways to do that is by having people share their stories with others – we can all learn from each other and become better recognizing and executing on opportunities to help our clients win.

Yes! I have a client that came to me after having gone to a different stylist. Her hair had a lot of banding from being dark and trying to go back blonde, as well as some pretty significant damage. I was able to talk with her doing a thorough consultation about her hair history, the health of her hair and her main goals of that appointment. Her goals were to not damage the hair any further (of course), get as light as we could that session, and have a more low maintenance grow out. I was able to achieve everything she wanted by taking my time highlighting her hair, using protective additive in the lightener, using a lowlight color to add depth in the hair and for a softer grow out. When I finished she was so happy with her hair she started crying. That’s only happened to me a handful of times in my years behind the chair and it truly is the best feeling knowing I made someone feel their best! Read more>>

Postpartum is one of the biggest bumps in a mother’s fitness journey. We have helped many women over come these challenges, but one of our client sticks out in particular. Pat was a former high end high school athlete that choose a path to medicine. Pat is a busy mom with high expectations of herself, even though she thought hr better years were all behind her. She works at a major hospital in metro Detroit, while her husband is following the same path in his third year post undergrad. They welcomed their second child to this world in the dark parts of winter. Now with two beautiful daughters under the age of 4, a new house, a husband in school, a sister’s wedding and a full time job at the hospital, how was she to find time to stay in shape? This is where L4 EMS Training was able to fill the gap. Read more>>

Hey there, I’m Alice, and I’m excited to share a wonderful success story that involves my friend Kevin, the builder. It all started when I was recommended for a unique project through a referral from a past client. Kevin, a remarkable builder, had a dream of creating Atlanta’s first cargo home – a groundbreaking concept made from shipping containers. Kevin’s vision was promising, but he faced the challenge of gaining recognition in a competitive industry. Read more>>

A customer telling me that they were nervous to try yoga in a studio but that we made them feel comfortable and that they had a positive experience is my favorite success story. Seeing people gain confidence and grow in their practice is such a privilege. It’s so impactful because it’s the very core of who we are and what we offer. We hear far too often that people feel too intimidated to go to a yoga studio, or worse, they went and felt like they didn’t belong. We never want anyone to have that experience and miss out on all that yoga and meditation has to offer. Read more>>

One of my favorite success stories was about a patient named Jane (we will name her Jane for this article). Jane is a 59-year-old female who has been suffering with fibromyalgia for majority of her life. She saw her primary care doctor who prescribed a medication for fibromyalgia. She took that for years, while still suffering low back pain. She thought that there was nothing she could do for her pain besides continue to take the medication. Read more>>

We received a phone call from a Mother of the Bride and the first thing she said to me was “I know this is a hail Mary” “but do you have availability on” and she gave the date. Immediately my heart sunk as I know I had a HUGE event that day with St Jude. I hate to say no to anyone. Especially someone really needing help. All the sudden my brain switched to fix mode and asked her more details and low and behold it would actually work. So we ended up doing 2 events in one day for the first time. We worked the Amazing St Jude event then we cleaned up grabbed some gas station food on the way and made it to the wedding reception in WI just in time for when the guest were good and thirsty. I met Ryan Kelley when he was 17 years old, I was then the Executive Director of a regional arts association North of Boston. He arrived with an amazing sculpture to enter into the annual Young & Budding Artists Show. I was immediately struck by his talent and capacity to execute at such a young age. Our relationship would evolve over the last dozen years or so — mentor/mentee, Executive Director/Board Member, professional colleagues. To mark ten years in as a professional artist, Ryan wanted to publish a book which would tell the story of the making of a special sculpture … really, it would tell his story. Read more>>

For as many success stories as I have seen, I am constantly amazed at the healing powers of massage. No matter how many classes you take and how many years of experience you can look back on, it’s crucial to remain humble and never assume that you can “wave your magic wand” and heal a client. In my experience, true healing is always thanks to the effective teamwork between myself and my clients. Read more>>

I’ve had two customers inform me that their bowel habits have improved since eating my walnut meat regularly. I was surprised by their candor, but happy for them! I remember the occasional struggle with constipation and irregular bowel movements prior to going plant-based. It can be frustrating, scary, and painful. I assured them that they were on the right track to improving their bowel and overall health by consuming walnut meat and more plant-based foods. Fiber, adequate water, fruit, and vegetable intake keeps things moving! Good health starts in your gut and walnut meat can definitely help you maintain a healthy gut! Read more>>
