When I began forming the Send A Miracle team, I sought out individuals who were not only caring but also dedicated to our mission of helping to uplift and empower impoverished communities. I engaged in conversations with people from diverse walks of life, and after an extensive search, I found our first volunteer, Aden Bertisch. Aden played a crucial role by establishing our social media presence and launching our campaign. I started working in the wrestling industry in 2020 and it is something I’ve grown to love very dearly. There aren’t many women in this industry as it is a male dominated one, but there is even less Black women in this space. There are so many insightful women. Women who are knowledgeable. Women who go above and beyond. When it comes to fostering inclusivity in the workplace, I believe it’s crucial to embody traits like approachability, collaboration, and a focus on delivering tangible outcomes. In my experience, I found it best to create the environment you need in order to be creative. And then simply create! With that in mind, I’ve established a commercial recording studio myself, overcoming any possible limitations of a home-based setup, making myself more accessible to the industry.
