We were lucky to catch up with Gosia Steele recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Gosia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the decision of whether to donate a percentage of sales to an organization or cause – we’d love to hear the backstory of how you thought through this.
Yes, we do donate a percentage to a non-profit organization which values are in alignment with our core values
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I got into the supplemental business simply because of my own health struggles. Being diagnosed with anemia I needed to find easy to digest supplements, and I learned that I am limited to pills or powders. Out of necessity I created my own formulations, several of my health oriented friends fall in love with my potions, so I decided to bring them to the public market. Odnova is a unique innovative supplement which tastes like a desert not a supplement, making the product easy and pleasant to take, no pills, capsules or generic powders. No mixing, blending either. Just one flat teaspoon a day, and you are done. No need to buy multi jars just to have a completed nutrition. Odnova has all prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, and digestive enzymes, fulfilled with all crucial vitamins and minerals, medicinal mushrooms and double directional adaptogenic herbs. I am most proud to develop most unique, innovative supplemental food which both saves money for customers as well provides a complete nutrition in most pure, organic form possible.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
After being forced to sell my first business to my partner I decided to use it as a tool to make me even stronger and as the result decided to create even better product on my own.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I needed to unlearn that someone else is in charge of my own destiny, but me.
