We recently connected with Jimihr Sean and have shared our conversation below.
Jimihr , appreciate you joining us today. Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
The kindest thing someone has ever done for me was when I worked at Chick Fil A. I was having the hardest time there and would often feel down. During those down times I would always pray to my God Jehovah. After I prayed there was this guy sitting in the dining room as I was cleaning. He stopped me and said “Man I’ve been watching you and with your personality the sky is the limit”. I remember that moment lifting me up and making me feel stronger. Every time I would pray he would always come into the restaurant and have some encouraging words for me and he had no idea about what I was going through, which let me know it was all Jehovah. His name was Andre and I’ll never forget him and his words of encouragement.
Jimihr , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I got into my craft of singing and performing pretty naturally as it was something I have been doing since I could walk and talk. I provide performances and I also have a YouTube channel where I vlog my life and showcase other talents. What sets me apart from others is wanting to appeal to all with my creative services. What I mean by that is, I want children and adults to be able to enjoy my content by keeping things clean and appropriate for all ages. I am most proud of my determination after all the setbacks I’ve had in life. I want potential followers, fans, clients etc to know that I am a person of integrity who likes to produce clean, authentic and well put together content.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think non creatives will struggle to understand my ability to always dream big because I believe anything is possible if you try. Most non creatives that I run into seem to be more of this is my reality and it can’t go any further whereas being a creative I see life totally different. If you think negative you get negative results, but if you think positive you get positive results. (Matthew 9:29)
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The goal or mission that is driving my creative journey is wanting to show people good clean entertainment still exist. For instance when I think of one of my favorite artist of all time “Michael Jackson” his music and performances were clean, but still entertaining for not just individuals to enjoy, but also families. That’s my goal!
