We recently connected with Rian Lozano and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Rian thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission is to capture my point of view and display my vision too the world. I want my photos to tell stories and make others feel the way I do when I see something that catches my attention. I also want to show everyone that even kids like me can see the world in a special way through photography. I hope my pictures inspire other kids to pick up a camera and start expressing themselves through this art too.

Rian , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well this is my first interview so I’m a little nervous but I’ll answer on how I feel and think. What I provide is the best quality pictures I can in whatever I take. What sets me apart is I had a good teacher. I watched my Dad and brother before my Dad got me my own camera. Now I have a better understanding of how and what I want to take pictures of and composition. I am most proud of places I have gotten to go and art shows I have been apart of because of the quality of my pictures and being recognized not just as a kid who doesn’t know what he’s doing and pressing random buttons. I really believe that it’s not the camera that makes the photographer it’s the vision we create. It’s just a tool we control.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Well I don’t have a big following yet by everything I share is because I like it and it makes me happy. I have always loved all kinds of cars and I want to also take pictures of landscapes and animals too. But I just do it for me and if people happen to like it that’s awesome too. I like seeing other people pictures too.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
What’s most rewarding to me is showing the world that I’m only 10 and just because I’m a kid doesn’t mean I am not capable of being a photographer and sharing my creativity. My Dad has taught me alot but sometimes now without us knowing it we end up with almost the same picture. We don’t even know till we look at the pictures later. I think it’s funny!
