We’ve always tried to ask the questions that matter but that are too awkward for people to ask their friends, family and coworkers without seeming dramatic. One of those questions is about mission and purpose – when’s the last time you asked a friend what their mission was? Too often we don’t talk about our own missions and don’t ask those close to us about theirs with the result being that our missions remain secret. Are you just a doctor or are you a doctor who wants to be there for patients in the way you wished your father’s doctor had been? People have incredible and meaningful missions, and we hope our conversations asking folks about their mission can inspire more such conversations in your life.

Our mission is to be the last dog trainer our clients ever need. In an industry that’s inundated with options and opinions – not to mention tons of misinformation and potentially dangerous methodology – it’s always been at the forefront for us to provide clear, accessible, and results-oriented training. This mission comes from personal history for me – before I started Boss K9, I had a dog named Bubbles who struggled with a multitude of challenging behavioral issues, including dog aggression, human aggression, and severe separation anxiety. As I learned more about training, I discovered that most of my own preconceived ideas about dog training were incorrect. My journey with Bubbles led my desire to share with others what I’d learned, and ultimately Boss K9 was born. Read more>>

We began with animal rescue: dogs, cats, chickens, and then with a focus on alpacas and llamas. And our mission has grown to rescuing mama & babies from horrible auctions where they rip the mamas from the little babies. Often the little babies end up passing away without their mama and without the specific nourishment they need. The treehouse airbnb/wedding/tv show component of our business occurred on accident really. The treehouse was built for personal use and then we decided to make it a short term rental to help offset the staggering costs of rescue: feed bills, vet bills, shelter costs, and farm maintenance. For me, Les’ Unlimited is not just a company; it’s a heartfelt endeavor to connect with people on a profound level. The sneaker world isn’t always kind to women and that I know to be true from experience. This is what prompted me to create Respect Female Sneakerheads. A lot of what you see when it comes to sneakers had a woman involved! From behind the scenes to the ones in the for front! We deserve to be respected, seen and heard. This also drove me to start my blog where I tell the words of different women in the sneaker community! Read more>>

My mission is to continue to help change makers, healers and women entrepreneurs make more money online, so they can create more impact. As a single mom, creating a business and working in the restaurant industry, I’ve seen how important it is to make more money online with less time and less energy. I know that as my clients make more money, doing what they love, they are able to take care of themselves, their families and their communities more deeply. As someone who was raised in a trailer park and grew up on food stamps, I can say that, no money doesn’t bring happiness, but it does bring power over your life, your health and your ability to create massive change in the world. I grew up in a small town, and like many young adults, I wasn’t taught much about credit. It was one of those life skills that somehow got overlooked in my education. I went through my teenage years blissfully unaware of the importance of good credit or the consequences of mismanaging it. When I turned 18, I decided to get my first credit card. I thought it was like having free money. Little did I know that credit came with a lot of rules and responsibilities. I treated it like a game, swiping my card without much thought for the future. I was enticed by all those flashy advertisements and offers for credit cards that promised cash back, rewards, and other perks. Read more>>

The story behind my mission comes from personal experience. Seeing my loved one’s and friends reliant on doctors care and prescription medications that is harming their bodies. There should be more doctors helping patients understand their health and educating them ways to take better care of themselves to not need the medications or how yo keep off the medications with natural remedies for better health and support. Having my own business and caring for my clients has been life-changing. My top priority is making each client feel safe and comfortable. It’s so gratifying to come into contact with so many special people. I knew I wanted to help people, and accomplished that goal every time I left my studio. It’s such an honor. Every client that walks through my door leaves feeling more confident. I can help through physical confidence, but I care about the life and well-being of each of my clients. The mission in my career is making connections, getting to know my customers’ lives, and being able to support and encourage them. Read more>>
