Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nancy Resendiz . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Nancy thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, naming is such a challenge. How did you come up with the name of your brand?
The reason I choose the name of Pueblo Perrito for my business is because I want to represent a Bussines in where the Latino Culture stands out and Latinos can be able to get more involved when it comes to caring for their pets. Pueblo Perrito means Doggie Town in English. During my years of experience as a rescuer I have seen many Latinos complaining about the cost of vet care in USA and not being able to afford simple things like vaccines. I want everyone to know Puedo Perito was founded by a Latino woman and be able to offer help to those families who need affordable vet care and transportation service. Pueblo Perrito will soon be remembered not only by Latinos but other cultures because we are willing to help families with low budgets and offer top quality services.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Many people know me as Dilan Ramirez aka Nancy, For the past 3 years I have been involved with hundreds of injured and sick dogs/cats. All the animals I have helped always needed to see a vet but unfortunately I came across with ridiculous veterinarian prices and that’s when I decided to treat all my rescues in Baja with excellent veterinarians who were 100% honest, professional and very affordable.
I wanted people to know there was more than treating a pet in US and they didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars on ver services, so I started spreading the word to many people and I was able to transport lots of pets to Baja because people were reaching out to me seeking help.
My business is about helping people transport their injured pets to Baja for veterinarian care. I partner with amazing well known professionals and together we have helped hundreds of families who love their pets but unfortunately can’t afford veterinarian service in USA.
I will continue with my mission because I love animals and because I care about their well-being and because vet care doesn’t have to be expensive. I am able to save families thousands of dollars by using my service. Also, a percentage of my earnings is donated to a nonprofit.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Lots of people on social media know about Pokie&Friends Rescue, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. I have rescued hundreds of animals and my videos and post are open to the public. Many people share my stories and support this noble cause.
I would like to tell people who are barely starting a business to be 100% transparent and honest to your customers.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
I haven’t met the right Bussines partner but I am definitely looking for one.
