We recently connected with BrizzNicole and have shared our conversation below.
BrizzNicole, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you feel you or your work has ever been misunderstood or mischaracterized? If so, tell us the story and how/why it happened and if there are any interesting learnings or insights you took from the experience?
I create and post many videos but not all of them deliver they way I intended them to. I try to give as much information as possible, but depending on the type of content it may be beneficial leaving some details up for interpretation. Comedy, for example, allows for an unique delivery when it requires some thought to be put towards it. Being misunderstood is something you have to go through when you are a creative. We are putting out our art on display for the world to see, and sometimes things either get exaggerated to fit a certain narrative or are taken completely out of context. When this happens, it’s important to stay true to yourself and keep pure intentions even when it isn’t as evident to others.
BrizzNicole, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am the TikTok Creator known as BrizzNicole (@itsbrizznicole). I started making TikTok videos while I was in pharmacy school. I initially started gaining popularity for my educational skits that incorporated drug information combined with a comedic dialogue. I soon expanded those skits to display humorous interactions between customers and technicians depicted by “The Pharmacy. ” As time went on, I continued to improve my filming, editing, and writing skills.
Recently, I started my media company as a Digital Creator with BrizzNicole, LLC (@brizznicolepro). We create and provide promotional clips, images, and graphics for individuals, brands, and businesses to be utilized for social media content. We also offer Creative Consultations where we spend time discussing goals to spark new ideas promoting additional creative strategies that could strengthen both brand identity and marketing. The Collaborative Skit service is one that is unique to BrizzNicole. This package provides an originally written Skit or Promo Clip for your brand/business displaying your products or services. It is simply an ad created specifically for you business and branded by our team.
I am most proud of my consistency. It takes a lot of discipline to keep going especially when you have many setbacks. But when you are doing something that you truly enjoy then the dream itself will not let you quit. I want my clients to enjoy their experience with our team as much a possible. We thrive to bring the very best out of you! And you are your best self when you are happy!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is the ability to share your expressions with the world in a unique way. Though this type of expression can be trying at times, it is the most beautiful form due to the level of vulnerability that it requires to create from.
How did you build your audience on social media?
My growth on social media began as a consumer based approach dealing with analytics. I built my audience by trying out different things and then consistently sticking to the content that gained the most response. This approach can work great! However, you do not want to post random content, because you may get a great response from something that you did not enjoy making. Then you have to decide whether to continue to make content that you don’t enjoy in order to please the algorithm or to take further time to find a niche.
The most important part of building an audience is staying consistent. In my experience, you do not have to post every single day. What is more important is the quality of yours posts while developing a constant flow. Even if you are only posting every seven days; you are still creating a constant rhythm.
