Cairo , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about how you went about setting up your own practice and if you have any advice for professionals who might be considering starting their own?

Cairo Moon started by accident, honestly. I remember the first reading I did, I was full shaking. This ability was always something I struggled with internally and felt shame from, then by the time I had accepted it and was ready to share it, I was so nervous! I started to tell people in my life what I had grown up with, seeing spirits attached to people around me, remembering my past incarnations, etc and to my surprise, they were so supportive that they had wanted readings! I started reading for my wife, my family, friends and was filled with so much joy when they would tell me the readings were “healing” and “everything they needed to hear”. Then the strangest thing happened, friends of friends were reaching out for readings, and things I was being shown were coming to pass. It was as if the flood gates of my confidence in these abilities had opened and it changed my life for always. It was always something I hid and felt shame for, then was pushed to speak openly about and even share online and found a beautiful community of likeminded people and wonderful clients drawn to me. Since then, I feel so privileged to connect with people in this way and help those connect to their loved ones and higher selfs.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Cairo, I am a psychic Medium Reiki healer and Akashic Records reader. The Akashic records are an energetic blueprint of everything through history and time that Your energy has been apart of. It is where I go to connect to a clients past incarnations, subconscious blocks, Auric energy, spirit guides, etc! I was born remembering my most recent past incarnation quite vividly, which led me to learn of and connect with reincarnation and to my surprise, when I would be talking to people, sometimes their past incarnations would play like a movie in my third eye. This was something I NEVER brought up to people, but as I started to embrace these parts of myself, I felt called to start sharing with people what i was shown. It was then that I realized the effects our past incarnations have on our energy and our life even without remembering quite like I did. By sharing peoples past incarnations, I was seeing the healing that was happening on a physical, mental, emotional and energetic level. People were able to release subconscious blocks ans fears that plagued them in this life understanding finally, where these fears and blocks came from. That was when Past Incarnations became my ”niche” and favorite readings to do! I am also training in Herbalism as well as Yoga and trauma informed Yoga practice.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

Nerves and self doubt are one of the main hurdles of any psychic! This was probably my biggest hurdles with starting Cairo Moon. There is this horrid feeling of “imposter syndrome” that I think everybody struggles with in any field, but learning to trust Your abilities and what you have to offer and to trust Your own energy is truly life changing, especially as a business owner. There was this feeling when I started of “Who am I to connect people to their loved ones who have passed on and deliver these messages? I’m just Sarah, I’m just me”, but we truly ALL have something to share and a way to help and once we get past ourselves being our biggest critic and roadblock, we are all capable of incredible things!

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

Experience and learning on the go! I am grateful enough to have clients who trust me and will ask me to “try” something that i may not be too confident in and im so thankful to them, because of them I learned something new that I can do, but maybe would have been too scared to try on my own. Second would be an online presence and a building of a community. I am so grateful for the beautiful community of people I have made, specifically other psychics that have helped me feel less alone and spread the word about Cairo Moon. I owe them so much! This world, every aspect of it is not meant to be lived alone, we need community and support and help and im grateful we are collectively moving into a more “community” and hopefully “unified” energy.
