We were lucky to catch up with Hailey Reinke recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hailey, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

I am grateful that in my career, so far, I have had the chance to be in some incredibly meaningful projects. Starting with the first project I was ever a part of, was the Netflix film White Noise directed by Noah Baumbach. This was a super meaningful project for me in many ways. First and foremost, it was the first set I ever got to be on. It was then that I realized that I wanted to pursue acting professionally as my career. I got to work alongside amazing actors such as Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig. I loved going to set and working every day. It was an incredible experience. Since then, I have had the opportunity to be in other meaningful projects as well. One of those projects is a horror film titled The Whistler directed by Alex Caruso and Jeremy Perdok. This was also a very meaningful project for me. One of the reasons why, was that it was the first time I booked one of the lead roles in a film. I loved everything about the project and was super excited I had booked the role. We had a premiere at a movie theater for the film as well. It was such an amazing experience.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Hailey Reinke. I am an actress and model. I started acting and modeling about three years ago. Since then I have had over 25 bookings comprised of commercials, film, runway modeling, photoshoots, voiceover, and more. I took an acting class about three years ago. I instantly loved it. From there I was in my first film which was the Netflix film White Noise directed by Noah Baumbach. It was an incredible experience. I got to work alongside amazing actors such as Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig. It was then that I realized I wanted to pursue acting professionally as my career. Some of my film credits within these three years include Netflix films, SAG films, feature films, student films, short films, independent films, and more. I enjoy many different genres of film such as romcoms, horror, comedy, romance, syfy, drama, and more. Another film that I was a part of is the horror film The Whistler which was directed by Alex Caruso and Jeremy Perdok. I booked one of the lead roles in The Whistler. I loved working on that film. It was an amazing experience to be a part of. Additionally, some of my commercial credits include Wayfair, Dollar Shave Club, Hello Fresh, Tymo, SkyDio, and Osmia, as well as Televised Car Commercials, along with many others. Being an actor, I’ve also had a ton of headshot shoots, and that’s how I discovered that I also enjoy modeling and would like to make modeling my career as well, in addition to acting. From there, I have modeled in runway fashion shows and photoshoots. As for what sets me apart from others, I would say is how passionate and determined I am as well as my versatility. This career path is a lot of hard work. I love all of it, from the very high highs and even the very low lows. As for my versatility, I’m a part of many different projects. These projects include commercials, films, TV shows, podcasts, ads, product promotions, skits, and more. I always welcome various opportunities. I’m very proud of what I have accomplished and am looking forward to many more amazing experiences in the future as well.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

I can absolutely share a story from my journey that illustrates my resilience. Every single day as an actor you have to be resilient. For me personally, I am still working towards being where I want to be in my career. I have accomplished a lot already, which I am very thankful for, but I do have more goals I am working towards as well. Every day I am working on something whether it is filming auditions, submitting to projects, updating my resume, taking acting classes, networking with people, etc. Being that everyone’s career path is different, it can sometimes be discouraging for people. To be successful, you have to be resilient. Every day I am resilient. There are so many people in this industry with so many different opinions. Some people will tell you “no”. But then for example, after 15 people tell you “no,” you finally get a “yes”. To get to that “yes” you have to be resilient and push through which is exactly what I am doing.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The most rewarding part about being an actor and model for me would be when I book a job and get to work on set. I love being on set. It takes a lot of work to book a job, so when I finally do, it is very rewarding. It is amazing to work with so many talented and creative people. With each project I work on, I get to meet so many incredible people. Every day I am working towards being able to be an actor and model full-time. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I absolutely love it though. It is also rewarding to take a moment and reflect on everything I have accomplished. I started acting and modeling about three years ago. Since then I have had over 25 bookings comprised of commercials, film, runway modeling, photoshoots, voiceover, and more. I have been a part of numerous projects which have all been incredible experiences. I am excited to continue and expand my career. I can’t wait to see where it will take me next.
